How I handle your data
You're about to send a document with real personal detail in it — your name, your history, often your clearance level. You should know exactly what happens to it. Here's the whole of it, plainly.
Your resume and the answers you give on the intake form. Nothing else. Site analytics are anonymous and aren't tied to you or your file.
Producing your report, and — if you become a client — the work you hire me for. That's the entire purpose.
I don't sell it. I don't hand it to recruiters, employers, or data brokers. I don't use it to train AI models, mine or anyone else's. Your resume isn't a product or a dataset to me — it's the thing you trusted me with to do a job.
Me. The work here is human-led — a real person reads your resume, and that person is the one you're corresponding with. It isn't passed off to a third party to process.
Your file comes in through an encrypted intake form and sits in access-controlled storage that only I reach. Not a marketing pipeline, not a shared drive.
Your file is deleted within 7 days or upon request of your report being delivered — unless you've become an active client, in which case it's kept only as long as the engagement needs and then deleted the same way.
Want it gone sooner?
Email wayne@resumedecoded.com and ask. Your file and intake data are deleted, and I'll confirm when it's done. You don't owe me a reason.
